Waddell is charged with the July 6 murder of 18-year-old Nelson Conley Jr. Columbus Division of Police say Waddell gunned down Conley in an alley off Ellsworth Avenue east of Lockbourne Road.

Waddell is 16.

Like Conley – who, since the age of 15, was a frequent flyer at the Franklin County Juvenile Court – Waddell is also no stranger to police.

On June 4, 2019, at the ripe age of 13, Waddell and four other juvenile delinquents threw rocks at three youngsters in front of a house on Miller Road.

On September 28, 2019, Waddell and three other delinquents broke into a home on 13th Avenue and snatched a MAC Air 13, 19-inch TV, Xbox, Amazon fire stick, digital camera, and six pairs of Nike Air Jordans.

On March 10, 2020, police arrested Waddell moments after stealing a 2008 VW Passat and taking it for a joyride on East Livingston Avenue before he rear-ended a delivery truck attempting to outrun cops.

And on November 27, 2020, police found Waddell and three delinquents sitting in a stolen 2016 Toyota RAV4 on Queen Court.

Keith Waddell remains on the run. If you have any information on Waddell's whereabouts, please contact the Columbus Division of Police.
