Columbus Mayor's Sister and Niece Off To Prison
Anne Ginther, 50, and her 25-year-old daughter, Jazmine Ginther, both pleaded guilty today at the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas to ripping off a disabled man two years ago.
Judge Daniel Hawkins sentenced the Ginther's to serve nine months at the Ohio Dept. of Rehabilitation and Corrections and pay the victim $4,000 in restitution.
The victim, then 59-years-old, told the Columbus Division of Police that he allowed the Ginther's to use his debit card to purchase food. The Ginthers made several unauthorized withdrawals and transactions to the tune of four grand.
Anne Ginther is Columbus Mayor Andy Ginther's sister, and Jazmine Ginther is his niece.
