CPD Investigates A Local Motorcycle Club And Its Role In A Double Homicide
On Tuesday afternoon, the Columbus Division of Police executed a search warrant at the Avengers Motorcycle Club clubhouse on N. Guilford Avenue.
Sgt. Joe Albert, Aide to Chief Elaine Bryant, confirmed today that the search is related to Monday night's shooting at the Old Landmark Tavern on Rumsey Road that left two men dead and three others injured.
"Detectives are currently processing evidence from both the search warrant and the scene of the earlier homicide," says Sgt. Albert. "At this time, no further details will be released regarding this case."
