Ex-Con Arrested In Chilling Case Of Woman Shot 14 Times
One down. Two to go.
Columbus Division of Police arrested one of the three men who ambushed and shot a 34-year-old woman two last May on the city’s eastside.

Police arrested Christopher Michael Freeman, 29, Thursday night and charged him with attempted murder and tampering with evidence. Freeman will be arraigned Saturday morning at the Franklin County Municipal Court.
Surveillance cameras captured the chilling shooting outside of Fisher Fish & Chicken on East Livingston Avenue. The video shows three men pulling up beside the victim’s car, exiting, pulling out handguns, firing 24 shots, and driving off.
Detectives say the shooters shot Jessica Marzett 14 times, but the single mother of two miraculously survived. Detectives believe Marzett was not the target, and it was a case of mistaken identity.
Franklin County Court of Common Pleas records shows that Freeman was sentenced on January 31, 2017, to serve four years at the Ohio Dept. of Rehabilitation and Corrections for felonious assault and forgery.
