Obetz Mayor's Son Indicted On Felonious Assault Charge
On Wednesday, a Franklin County grand jury indicted 38-year-old Dwayne Kirk on one count of felonious assault.

Grove City police tell The Sussi Report that on the night of July 17, Kirk attacked 35-year-old Nate Sisson with a metal rod used to secure doors. In the early stages of its investigation, officers believed that Kirk used a baseball bat.
Police say the attack happened at the Grove City home of Kirk's ex-girlfriend. A source told The Sussi Report that Kirk knows his ex-girlfriend's garage code and most likely entered through the garage before Sisson and Kirk's ex arrived.
Lynn Grandon says her son, a security officer at Grant Medical Center, suffered four skull fractures, broken facial bones, and a broken jaw and lacerated ear. "He also had two brain bleeds," says Grandon.

Kirk, the son of Obetz Mayor Angela Kirk, will be arraigned on August 31 at the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. Kirk remains free on a $10,000 bond which was set at the Franklin County Municipal Court when Kirk was charged last month.
Grove City police say they are still looking into Kirk's ex-girlfriend and why she left the scene and failed to get Sisson help.
The Sussi Report learned that in 2005, a Franklin County grand jury indicted Kirk and Thomas Speakman Jr. on felonious assault charges for severely beating up 26-year-old Matthew Parsley.
Kirk pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of misdemeanor assault. He spent a day in jail, and the court ordered him to pay Parsley $3,000 in restitution.
