PLSD Principal Resigns Amid Controversy Over Teen Sex Offender
Pickerington High School North Principal Mark Ulbrich resigned Monday night. His resignation letter didn’t beat around the bush.

“At this time, I believe it is in the best interest of my family, PLSD, and the Pickerington community that I resign my position as Principal of Pickerington High School North effective Monday, March 28, 2022. Respectfully, Mark Ulbrich."
PLSD placed Ulbrich on administrative leave on January 28. While PLSD has yet to reveal why it placed Ulbrich on administrative leave, The Sussi Report learned that it is linked to Ulbrich permitting a former 15-year-old student and known sex offender to remain in school.
The Sussi Report reached out to Ulbrich Monday night for a comment but hasn’t received a response.
Like many of you, I also have questions. Like, who at the PLSD knew about the teenage sexual predator, and what if anything did the PLSD do to protect students from the him? The teenager was adjudicated delinquent in a pair of sexual assault cases in 2021 involving a five-year-old boy and an eight-year-old girl.
Perhaps we will get answers when the PLSD releases its independent investigation into Mark Ulbrich and the teenager predator.
Ulbrich came to PLSD in 2014.
